Whole Sign Houses
In this lecture Gary Cousins deals with the vexed question of which House System one should use. There are a variety of ways the heavens can be divided up into the so called ‘Houses’ of the natal chart. While the Whole Sign House System seems almost too simple, compared to the complex factors considered in other House Division methods, more and more modern astrologers are finding great value in returning to this ancient way of mapping the Houses.
Gary will present a history of the the “original” House System and the subtle nuance of using whole signs in natal and horary astrology.
Gary Cousins has been a student of astrology since 1992, having completed the Thorburn School of Astrology Diploma, in February 1996. He has subsequently specialised in horary and predictive astrology and his work focuses on the astrology of the moment. Gary has been an active member and past Chairperson of the Cape Astrology Association, and he’s a popular speaker on astrology and related subjects.
