A LOST LINK IN MEDICAL ASTROLOGY: IDENTIFYING AND DELINEATING MIASMA AS PER THE HIPPOCRATIC MODEL
Traditional studies in western astrology delineate physical disease primarily from maladies associated with the Sixth House and Eighth House. However, experience shows that this is not always the case. In this webinar, you will learn from first principles to identify and delineate Miasma as per the ancient Hippocratic Model of Disease – a new paradigm for western Medical Astrology, and a missing link and critical step in identifying all major and minor physical Disease in a chart.
About the Speaker
Nāthan Theo Naicker was a petroleum engineer until 2016 and has been practicing astrology professionally since 2014. He began his studies in 2010 in traditional western astrology with qualifications in natal, horary, mundane, locational, and medical branches. He has a Diploma in Medieval Astrology (Zoller, 2012), a Diploma in Astrological Studies (Suskin, 2014) and Practitioners Level in Horary (School of Traditional Astrology, 2016). In 2018, he introduced the research of using the Southern Tropical Zodiac for nativities in the southern hemisphere, and has published and presented on the same at international conferences and astrological publications. He is the South Africa Representative for NCGR and co-representative for OPA, as well an Associate member of the APAI (UK). From 2016-2017, he served as Secretary for the Astrological Lodge (UK). Since 2016, he began studying Vedic Astrology through the oral tradition from Pt Sanjay Rath, one of the top Vedic astrologers in the world, in an unbroken tradition since the middle ages. In 2023, he obtained the prestigious Jyotiṣa Panḍita certification after seven years of intensive studies in Traditional Vedic Astrology. His specialized consultations take into account factors from both Western and Vedic astrological traditions, honoring each system separately. Nāthan Theo runs retreats in South Africa and hosts webinars, workshops, and private courses in both Western and Vedic Astrology online. Given his perspective for different forms of Astrology as complementary, he performs Rectification for clients and other astrologers around the world. In 2022, he was awarded “Astrologer of the Year – 2022” by MEA Markets based on client referrals.
