Student to Professional Astrologer – Bridging the Gap
The void between student to professional astrologer can feel very wide as most courses only give one the theory and not a lot of practical opportunities to deal with “real life” people. Astrology is such a complex subject that no matter whether you are a self taught astrologer or you have done an extensive astrology course, one still has that teething/shaky/misty period where you may feel quite out of your depth with handling sensitive information.
I will take you on my journey and hope to get a few other astrologers on board to share theirs. There are many directions one can go with Astrology and we can explore the different routes and ways to use it from predictive, research, coaching etc.
I would like to keep the talk interactive so please email me some of your questions and we can use this opportunity to unpack some of the obstacles and fears that may be getting in the way.
I am a qualified astrologer and predominantly work from a coaching angle. I have been fascinated by astrology from an early age and went for my first reading with Rod Suskin at the age of 19. Soon after that I started his part time astrology course. At that point astrology was more an interest than a vocation for me. The point at which I knew I needed to take astrology to the next level was in my 30`s when I became a mother and saw the benefits of understanding my children’s individual needs through their birth charts. Just before my Jupiter return I then restudied Rod`s 3 year diploma course. I now run various workshops, write a daily horoscope for Women24 and do individual readings. I am also an illustrator/artist, so I try to combine my artistic side into astro illustrations, icons and paintings”.
