About the Presentation

The traditional art of medical astrology associates each sign of the zodiac to an area or system of the body. At the dawn of the 20th Century, the American astrologer Dr. George Carey allocated the twelve tissue salts according to the signs.

Medical Astrologers can apply these keys to balance temperaments in nativities and guide treatment in decumbiture charts. These applications require the traditional knowledge of medical astrology and how to apply the remedies appropriately. The natural zodiac offers us some simpler solutions, however.

Join Alison to discover how we can use these biochemic keys to navigate health challenges presented by Covid-19 in the pandemic, whether you are a seasoned medical astrologer or not.

About the Speaker

Alison Effting graduated as the Best All-Round Student Radiographer from the Johannesburg School of Radiography in 1982. After a health crisis in 1993 that was not resolving with conventional treatment, she came across tissue salts, transforming her life. She began biochemic studies in 1994 and, with encouragement from her mentor, started seeing clients in 1995. She also commenced color therapeutic practitioner studies in 1996, qualifying as a senior Aura-Soma Teacher in 2001, whilst concurrently completing the German Institute of Biochemic Medicine Diploma in 2000.

Alison found the tissue salts connection with astrology intriguing and began reading and attending some informal courses in the late 1990s. She began formal studies at the Rod Suskin School of Astrology in 2006, qualifying as Student of the Year in 2008.

Alison sees clients for tissue salts, Aura-Soma, and astrology consultations in Claremont, Cape Town. She is currently also presenting online courses for students in Japan that aim to integrate the understanding of the role of tissue salts within the body-mind-spirit dimension of health.
